After an earlier red flag delay left only nine minutes on the clock a frantic end to FP3 this afternoon at Brno saw Jonathan Rea(Kawasaki Racing Team) lead home the entire field, with Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) second quickest and the first Ducati of Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) third.

Lorenzo Savadori (Milwaukee Aprilia) was first to move forward in the final minutes, up to fourth, just before Rea improved his own best lap to a 1’59.446 and enjoyed a final 0.268 second advantage over Sykes.
Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK) placed fifth and Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) sixth today.
Double Donington race winner Michael van der Mark (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK) was seventh, and the last rider inside the 2 minute barrier this afternoon.

An engine blow-up from the Aruba.it Ducati of Michael Ruben Rinaldi saw a red flag thrown with just over nine minutes of the FP3 session remaining. It was the second red flag of the day in WorldSBK after an earlier problem with the trackside air-fence. Rinaldi finished his day eighth, one place ahead of Leon Camier (Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team).
The top ten on a day that started wet and finished warm and sunny was completed by lone BMW rider, Loris Baz (GULF ALTHEA BMW Racing Team). Eugene Laverty (Milwaukee Aprilia) was 11th. American duo Jake Gagne (Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team) and PJ Jacobsen (TripleM Honda World Superbike Team) were 19th and 20th respectively.
